It's one of the great pleasures of my life so far, to have this unquenchable, unstoppable craving to keep crafting, molding, and building whole ecosystems which, if built well (and by ‘well’ I mean with thought and complexity), hold many, many tales indeed.
It’s this facet of my writing style (if ‘style’ can be applied here liberally) which informs my scripts as well as my prose works. I have over forty-plus years of writing—I’m 53yrs old and I literally began scribbling up my little fables and yarns from about the age of three.
My mother was an English teacher at an Anglican private school for girls here in Hawaii, as well as the head librarian, and so I’ve had my nose sunk between the folds of books from infancy.
From those many influential tales of my early childhood, came this joy in weaving layer-upon-layer onto the lives of the characters whose stories I’ve chosen to tell.
